d’Arry’s Cookhouse and Wine Shop is a restaurant that brings together the best in food and wine within a contemporary yet comfortable atmosphere.
Devastated by fire in summer '08 the restaurant has risen from the ashes even better than before, including a new £150,000 kitchen, from which you can watch our chefs at work. Our head chef Rook Gouldie has received glowing comments and accolades for his excellent cuisine since the restaurant opened in 2007. He has a passion for fresh, regionally sourced ingredients, and uses them to create excellent British food with a twist. There is a delicious fresh main menu and an adventurous specials board to choose from, including top quality steaks, fresh fish (delivered daily) and a vegetarian dish of the day.
All menu dishes come with a recommended wine to accompany the meal. The full production of wines from d’Arenburg and Bruno Paillard collections are on offer. On weekdays you can enjoy two course lunch or early dinner from just £9.95. There’s no need to book at d’Arry’s, we’ll always manage to fit you in. Larger groups can book a private dinner in our atmospheric wine shop.
